Police investigating a break-in at a coffee shop have charged a man with burglary. Officers attended the drive-thru café in Winthorpe, near Newark, following the raid in the early hours of January 7, 2024. Intruders had broken into the business by smashing a window and a till drawer was taken. Benjamin Young, aged 45, of Mumby Close, Newark, has been charged with burglary and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on February 22, 2024.
