Operations were brought largely to a halt at five German airports on Wednesday as airport ground staff walked off the job as part of an ongoing wage dispute with the country’s largest airline Lufthansa, The carrier had to cancel up to 90% of its approximately 1,000 scheduled flights on Wednesday due to the industrial action.
