A Year six school cricket team has secured their spot in the East Midlands Regional Finals. The St Peter’s Cross Keys Church of England Academy in Farndon represented Newark and Sherwood in the Nottinghamshire County Year Six Cricket Tournament on July 4. The tournament was held at Notts and Arnold Cricket Club. This following their victory at the Newark and Sherwood District Year Six cricket tournament held at Newark R&M on June 27.
