Serbian authorities have for the first time removed from the Danube one of more than 200 shipwrecks which Nazi Germany’s navy sank there in August 1944, Serbian Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Goran Vesić said on Wednesday. First, the minister said on Facebook, an investigation will be conducted to determine if there are any explosives still on board the wreck, after which it will be displayed to the public.
