A 52-year-old man was struck and killed by a car early Monday along Route 1 in Edison, authorities said. Adam Ginsberg was crossing against a green light when he was struck by a northbound car around 2:20 a.m. in the area of Plainfield Avenue, Edison police said. Ginsberg, of Dunellen, died of his injuries at an area hospital. The driver, a 35-year-old man from the Somerset section of Franklin, stopped and cooperated with police. No charges have been filed.
