An 18-year-old who was armed with a machete when he assaulted multiple teenagers, then kidnapped a boy the following day, has been jailed for seven-and-a-half years. Aidan Bird, formerly of Pettis Road, St Ives, was found guilty of aggravated burglary and kidnap following a two-week trial. He had also pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and disclosure of private images.
