Tokyo stocks rose slightly Thursday morning, as buying on dips amid a weaker yen offset selling following declines on Wall Street overnight. The 225-issue Nikkei Stock Average gained 58.48 points, or 0.17 percent, from Wednesday to 35,148.10. The broader Topix index was up 3.89 points, or 0.16 percent, at 2,493.10.
