Sales of Tesla electric vehicles have slipped further in the German market during 2024, according to registration data from the country’s Motor Transport Authority (KBA). Billionaire Elon Musk’s brand is only in third place this year – behind German car companies Volkswagen and BMW. Around 49,200 all-electric Volkswagen vehicles have been newly registered in Germany so far in 2024, ahead of BMW’s 33,167 vehicles, according to the KBA.
