A bear attacked a man in Croatia’s Plitvice Lakes National Park on Friday. The 64-year-old man, a local resident, was taken to hospital in the regional capital Gospic, Croatian broadcaster HRT reported. His injuries are not serious, medics said. The man sid he was walking about 800 metres from his house when the bear ran towards him from a pasture. The animal knocked him over and bit him before running away.
