Nottingham Forest were beaten by Tottenham this evening in North London and here are our player ratings. For 45 minutes it was a case of so far, so good once Forest had settled and they deservedly equalised through Chris Wood. Alan Smith bemoaned that Forest had started the game a little negatively but they should have been in the lead when Wood struck a post. Things were all a little simple for Tottenham in the second half and superb goals from Micky van de Ven and Pedro Porro gave the hosts the ascendency.
