A poor weather forecast had forced the cancellation of a charity Christmas event. Beaumond House Hospice Care has announced is has had to take the “difficult decision” to cancel its Winter Wonderland event which was due to be held tomorrow. Due to the forecast heavy rain and wind and flood warnings in place, the hospice felt it would not be safe to go ahead with the planned use of gazebos or hold an outdoor event.
