A man in his 20s has been arrested after a young child was seriously injured in a collision where the driver failed to stop. The child was taken to hospital after the crash on the A134 Brandon Road, Thetford, at around 6.50pm on Monday. The road was closed for just under an hour while emergency services attended to the child. They were taken to West Suffolk Hospital and later transferred to Addenbrooke’s, where they remain in a serious but stable condition.
