Reports have emerged that iQOO is preparing to launch the iQOO Pad 2 series of tablets in China. Recently, China’s 3C authority approved the Pad 2 and Pad 2 Pro tablets, which received the respective model numbers iPA2453 and iPA2475. Today, the brand has officially confirmed that the Pad 2 Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset.
iQOO Pad 2 Pro will be the world’s first tablet with Dimensity 9300 Plus processor
MediaTek today introduced the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset with a 3.4GHz clock speed in China. This is an enhanced version of the Dimensity 9300, which is used in models such as the Vivo X100, X100 Pro, and Vivo Pad 3 Pro. Vivo and its iQOO sub-brand confirmed today that the Vivo X100s, X100s Pro and iQOO Neo 9S Pro will be powered by the all-new Dimensity 9300+ SoC.
iQOO Pad 2 Pro will be the world’s first tablet with the Dimensity 9300 Plus chipset. The Neo 9S Pro is scheduled to launch this month (May) in China. It is not yet known whether the Pad 2 Pro will be released at the same time as the Neo 9S Pro.
Specifications of iQOO Pad 2 Pro (rumored)
A reliable leak from Digital Chat Station revealed on Weibo that the iQOO Pad 2 Pro will have a 13-inch LCD panel with a 3.1K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate.
Enabling the Monster+ performance mode will allow the tablet to squeeze out top-notch gaming performance. The tablet is rumored to have an 11,500 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The tablet’s USB-C port will support the USB 3.2 standard.
It looks like the iQOO Pad 2 Pro has the same specs as the Vivo Pad 3 Pro announced last month in China, except for a new chip. So, the Pad 2 Pro will most likely feature an 8-megapixel front camera, 13-megapixel rear camera, eight speakers, and Android 14 with OriginOS 4.0 on top.
