Former Republican Bill Kristol believes that now is the time for foes of President-elect Donald Trump to start organizing to thwart any efforts to dismantle democratic institutions. Writing in The Bulwark, Kristol argued that Trump and his movement should have “no honeymoon” and that Democrats need to begin working immediately rather than waiting until he’s inaugurated next year. “If Trump as president-elect sails through these next two months unimpeded and unmarked, he’ll take office in a position of great strength,” he wrote.
