Bad news late in the Chicago Street Race for Kyle Larson. He sent it into Turn 6, barely tapped Ty Gibbs and went into the barrier. Larson was the pole winner and was up front for most of the afternoon, but his NASCAR Sunday ended early on Lap 35. Kyle Larson overdrove the turn trying to catch Ty Gibbs. It was too much. Like many other drivers in the last two years, Larson went right into that tire barrier at Turn 6. This is going to be a tough one to swallow. Larson likely had a car capable of winning.
