The M4 is currently closed due to a serious incident. The motorway was shut at around 9.46pm, in both directions, between junction 14 at Hungerford and junction 15 at Swindon. Thames Valley Police is leading a multi-agency response to the ongoing incident, with all emergency services currently at the scene. National Highways has said that, “due to the serious nature of the incident,” the road is expected to remain closed throughout the night. A diversion is in place.
