Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend summits of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum and the Group of 20 major economies to be held from next week in South America, the country’s Foreign Ministry said Friday. Xi will visit Peru and Brazil from Wednesday to Nov. 21 and arrangements are apparently being made for bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the gatherings with outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba.
