A couple in Cardiff have been found dead at their home in a suspected ‘murder-suicide’, with their pet dog also discovered lifeless at the scene. The elderly pair have been named locally as Steve and Christine Jefferies, who have been described as “just wonderful people” by their heartbroken daughter. South Wales Police were called to the semi-detached house in the Tremorfa district of the city after three “loud bangs” were heard by neighbours.
