Rio 2016 champion Sharon van Rouwendaal of the Netherlands has claimed a second Olympic gold in the women’s 10-kilometre open water marathon with a win at the Paris Games on Thursday. The Dutch swam away from her competitors and was the first to complete the race on the Seine in 2 hours 03 minutes 34.2 seconds.
