The US electric car manufacturer Tesla put car production at its only European plant near Berlin on hold on Friday as planned. The stoppage was confirmed by a company spokeswoman. It is the first of five days in June on which Tesla is temporarily shutting down production. The company also plans stoppages on June 14, 17, 27 and 28.
