Austria have claimed their first gold medal at the Paris Games with a sailing win in the mixed dinghy race on Thursday. The Austrian duo of Lara Vadlau and Lukas Mähr scored 58 points to claim first place ahead of Japan’s Keiju Okada and Miho Yoshioka. Bronze went to Anton Dahlberg and Lovisa Karlsson of Sweden. This is Austria’s third medal at the Paris Games. The nation had previously claimed bronze in the women’s judo 70-kilogram event.
