Hickathrift House in Marshland St James will be opening its doors to people from the community to help tackle loneliness in the local community. Elderly people who might usually eat alone, are invited to join the residents and teams at the home every Wednesday for delicious soup and a freshly baked bread roll, as well as cakes and hot beverages.
