In the MNYL under-12 girls league, the top two met as second-placed Terrington hosted leaders Gaywood. It was always likely to be a tight affair, and the girls did not disappoint. Terrington edged ahead within the opening 10 minutes when Keelee Wright poked home a striker’s finish. Both goalkeepers were in outstanding form throughout, keeping all further attacking efforts at bay.
