Annual revenue rose for South Korea’s LG Electronics Ltd in preliminary figures released on Monday. The company reported preliminary operating profit of 3.5 trillion won ($2.65 billion) for the year, compared with the 3.6 trillion won of the previous year. Preliminary revenue stood at 84 trillion won, higher than last year’s 83.5 trillion won. “The historic high in annual revenue can be attributed to the robust fundamentals of LG’s core businesses and the growth experienced in B2B sectors,” the company said. LG Electronics is scheduled to release its annual financial report later this month.
