Newark cyclists had success in the Leicestershire Cyclo-Cross League where the fifth round took place at the Leicestershire Showground in Market Harborough. Newark Castle Cycling Club sent a contingent of five riders to compete in the event which incorporated the East Midlands Regional Championships. Florence Lissaman performed well as she won the senior women’s title. Her younger sister, Charlotte also had success as she crossed the line as the second-best under-16s girl and the 19th rider overall in the youth title race.
