Seven-time athletics gold medallist Allyson Felix has won an election among Paris Games participants to lead four new members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) athletes’ commission. The IOC said that Felix was elected with 2,880 votes together with former German gymnast Kim Bui (1,721), Australian twice Paris canoe slalom gold medallist Jessica Fox (1,567) and New Zealand tennis player Marcus Daniell (1,563).
