In Bangladesh, the party of head of government Sheikh Hasina appears to have clearly won the parliamentary elections boycotted by the largest opposition party. According to preliminary results, Hasina’s Awami League party won more than 50% of the 300 parliamentary seats, a representative of the election commission announced on Sunday night.
