German telecommunications firm Deutsche Telekom saw net profit after non-controlling interests increase to €2.09 billion ($2.28 billion) in the second quarter, the company said on Thursday. That was up from €1.54 billion in the same quarter last year. On a per share basis, net income was €0.42 compared to €0.31 in the prior year.
