A MAN is to go on trial accused of sending an obscene or menacing Christmas Day message. Robert Jones appeared in the dock at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 14. The 43-year-old, of Cherry Close, Newbury, is charged with causing a grossly offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing electronic message to be sent in Newbury on Christmas Day, 2022.
