The British comedian was nominated for the new category, Best Performance in Stand-up Comedy on television, for his Netflix special Armageddon. Ricky scooped the gong for the stand-up show. Armageddon has peaked at number one in 10 countries. Ricky went up against Trevor Noah, Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman and Wanda Sykes in the category.
