RB Leipzig said on Monday that midfielder Ilaix Moriba will spend another loan spell in Spain for the rest of the season, at La Liga club Getafe. The deal does not include an option to make the deal permanent in summer. Moriba, 20, came to Leipzig in 2021 from Barcelona but then returned to Spain on loan for two terms at Valencia between January 2022 and June 2023. Leipzig hope that Moriba develops further to make an impact after his return. He is currently with the national team of Guinea for the Africa Cup of Nations which starts on the weekend.
