MONROE COUNTY, Fla. \- A clerical error by a third-party vendor has resulted in thousands of Monroe County residents receiving incorrect property tax bills. The bills, which were intended for property owners in Charlotte County, were mistakenly mailed to addresses in Monroe County. Both counties use the same vendor for processing and mailing tax bills.
