Realme is preparing to launch the GT Neo 6 smartphone in China. However, this is not the only device, as the brand will also launch Realme Buds Air 6 in parallel with it.

The Chinese brand silently announced Buds Air 6 and Buds Air 6 Pro through a listing on its official website. But apart from revealing the key specifications, the price and release date were still a secret. Now, a fresh teaser from the company has confirmed that they will appear alongside GT Neo 6 on May 9, 2024, which is tomorrow. The announcement of the new truly wireless headphones will take place at 14:00 CET.

The teaser also adds that Realme Buds Air 6 will have up to 50 decibels of ANC (active noise cancellation), LHDC 5.0, and Hi-Res certification. Based on what we know at the moment, the headphones are equipped with 12.4 mm speakers and have six built-in microphones. Realme claims that they can last up to 40 hours on a single full charge with the charging case. Although, most likely, it will depend on whether ANC is enabled.

The headphones can provide 7 hours of audio playback with a 10-minute charge. They are even IP55 water and dust resistant. The Realme Buds Air 6 Pro has similar specs, but with 3D spatial sound effects for an enhanced listening experience, as well as a larger battery.
