A High Court in Kano State on Thursday, sentenced a 22-year-old man, Nura Sabiu, 22, to life imprisonment for stabbing an 18-year-old to death. The court also sentenced Dahiru Ubale, 21, to five years imprisonment. Sabiu and Ubale were convicted on two count charges of criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide. Justice Usman Na’abba held that the Prosecution had proven its case beyond reasonable doubt. “I hereby sentence Sabiu to life imprisonment and Ubale to five years imprisonment,” he held.
