Motorists in Bishop’s Stortford were confronted with a familiar scene on Monday morning (Jan 8) – a rash of road works just in time for the schools to return. Traffic built up along The Causeway and in the town centre as UK Power Networks (UKPN) had installed two-way signals in Hockerill Street on Sunday near the post office. The repair and maintenance work will continue until Friday (Jan 12). Multi-way signals were operating at the bottom of Bells Hill with the junction of Hadham Road, again for UKPN to carry our repair and maintenance work until Friday.
