A man was reportedly thrown to the floor and punched outside a Waitrose. It is alleged the victim, who is in his 60s, was involved in an altercation and was then chased and assaulted near the supermarket’s entrance, in Sovereign Way, Tonbridge. He suffered injuries including cuts and bruising following the incident which is said to have happened at around 11.30am on Saturday, June 29. Police officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they believe can assist with their inquiries.
