The price of European natural gas has risen to its highest level this year on fresh geopolitical concerns. The benchmark TTF futures contract for delivery in a month’s time climbed by more than 5.7% to €38.78 ($42.36) per megawatt hour (MWh) in Amsterdam on Wednesday.
