Oklahoma defensive back Gentry Williams was taken to the locker room with injury during the second quarter Saturday against Houston. Williams appeared to come down hard on his right shoulder on an earlier play and was checked out of the game. He was looked at in the on-field tent prior to being taken back to the locker room for further examination. With less than two minutes to go until halftime, it seems unlikely that Williams will return before the half is up. We’ll hope for further update on his status ahead of the third quarter.
