A council has objected to plans to provide 15 Gypsy and Traveller pitches at an industrial site. Newark and Sherwood District Council put forward plans for the family pitches at the former Belvoir Ironworks on Bowbridge Lane, Newark. The application has been highly debated, with over 130 comments received from neighbours and the public.
