Cambridge’s new Wendy’s restaurant has been given permission to sell takeaway food until the early hours of the morning seven days a week. The American fast food chain was granted planning permission to open a restaurant at 56 St Andrew’s Street, where the former NatWest Bank used to be based. The original permission from Cambridge City Council allowed it to open between 8am and 10pm from Monday to Friday and on Sundays, and from 8am to 11pm on Saturday.
