Niall Chamberlain was the star turn at Squared Circle Boxing Academy’s first ever home show on 25 May. The Cambridge-based club hosted the event, which featured a number of skills and competitive bouts, at Burwell Sports Centre. And it was Chamberlain, who lives in the village, that caught the eye with a dominant display against his opponent from St Osyth Boxing Gym. The ‘Burwell Bomber’ used his superior reach to good effect, peppering the visiting fighter with some well-timed jabs before he unleashed a string of combinations to win via a stoppage.
