Uttlesford District Council (UDC) has launched an independent review into the delayed issuing of postal votes in the run-up to Thursday’s General Election. Conservative Kemi Badenoch won the new North West Essex seat – formerly Saffron Walden – after seeing her majority slashed by almost 25,000, from 27,594 to 2,610.
