Samsung has released the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 with One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14, which includes several new AI features. A report has already claimed that Samsung is going to extend some of the Galaxy’s AI features to its A series with the One UI 6.1.1 update. So, Samsung has a lot of work to do in the near future. As a result, it has also been reported that Samsung has postponed the release of the One UI 7 beta because it was too busy working on One UI 6.1.1. The company was supposed to release the beta version of One UI 7.0 based on Android 15 last week.
While Samsung is busy rolling out One UI 6.1.1 based on Android 14 to existing models, leaks and rumors about One UI 7.1 based on Android 15 have already started to arrive. The latest one comes from a well-known Ice Universe insider who claims that One UI 7.1 will be one of the main features of the Galaxy S25 series and will have significant improvements. He also notes that One UI 7 will focus on improving animations (including elegant animations) and smoothness of the interface.
Recall that the Galaxy S24 series was launched with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14, which brought new and improved Galaxy AI features. Unsurprisingly, the S25 series will be released with One UI 7.1 based on Android 15, which offers an improved interface with new features. It is noteworthy that each new version of One UI brings improvements in different aspects compared to the previous version.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to tell more about the expected changes in One UI 7.1.
