Former Scotland Yard detective Peter Bleksley has hit out at calls for more police officers on Britain’s streets, as he has criticised the “basket case” drive on diversity and inclusion. This comes as the latest figures show nearly half of burglaries across neighbourhoods in England and Wales remain unsolved.
