Iran’s incoming reformist president Masoud Pezeshkian is looking to maintain his country’s hostile stance towards Israel, he confirmed in a letter to Lebanon’s Hezbollah militia, a close ally of Tehran, according to state media. “Iran’s support for the resistance front against the illegitimate Zionist regime will continue with vigour,” Iranian state news agency ISNA quoted Pezeshkian as saying in the statement addressed to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.
