Once again the annual Murrow Autumn Open Flower and Vegetable Show was a flourishing success raising £500 for charity. The event on Saturday at the village hall saw more than 200 entries in a huge array of classes which included fruit and vegetables of all kinds, flowers and floral arrangements, arts and crafts, cookery, and preserves. Villagers proudly showed off the produce they had successfully grown this summer while the more crafty ones displayed their homemade items.
