Realme has officially launched the GT Neo 6, the successor to the popular GT Neo 5, in China. The phone is positioned as a “mid-range flagship” that aims to deliver high performance at a competitive price.

Productivity

The GT Neo6 boasts the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 mobile platform, the latest sub-flagship chip from Qualcomm. Combined with the 10,000-level VC cooling system, it promises users top-notch performance for eSports and other demanding tasks.

To further enhance performance, the phone features the Geek Performance Panel 2.0, which allows users to customize CPU and GPU frequencies, as well as an updated AI Burning Mode that intelligently activates full performance mode when a compatible cooling clip is connected.

All of this results in incredible gaming performance, according to Realme. The phone supports a native 1.5K resolution in Genshin Impact for superior visuals compared to the standard 720p or upscaled resolution. In addition, it can optimize image quality and frame stability in popular games such as “Honor of Kings”.

Storage capacity includes up to 16 GB of LPDDDR5X RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

Display.

The display is another highlight, and it hasn’t changed much from what we saw in the Neo 6 SE. That is, the phone has a 6.78-inch screen developed in conjunction with BOE, which has a nominal peak brightness of 6000 nits.

Although this is the peak, the typical global maximum brightness is 1600 nits and the manual maximum brightness is 1000 nits. The 8T LTPO panel features a variable refresh rate from 0.5 to 120 Hz, 2160 Hz high frequency PWM control and low stroboscopic 3+1 Pulse DC technology for a comfortable viewing experience.

In addition, for the first time in the industry, Greenfield AI eye protection is implemented, which actively recognizes user fatigue and adjusts various screen parameters accordingly. It is combined with other features such as low-frequency flicker reduction and hardware blue light reduction for a comfortable viewing experience.

Camera

Realme GT Neo 6 has a dual camera on the back. The main sensor is a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor (Sony IMX355). And for selfies, there’s a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 camera on the front.

Battery

The GT Neo6 is equipped with a 5500 mAh battery, the largest among Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 phones, and supports 120W fast charging. This allows you to quickly charge it to 50% in just 10 minutes.

Realme doesn’t compromise on other aspects either. The phone comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for enhanced protection and is IP65-rated for dust and splash protection. It is the only phone among its competitors that has “dual-frequency GPS + triple-frequency Beidou” for highly accurate positioning.

The phone also has an infrared sensor, X-axis linear motor, and NFC, making it a flagship device.

A collaboration for comic book fans

For the first time, Realme has partnered with a leading Chinese comic book company to release a limited edition Realme GT Neo6 “Perfect World” in a gift box with Yunxi animation.

It includes a personalized phone with exclusive themes, ringtones, and a comic book-inspired charging light effect. The box also includes the latest Realme Buds Air 6 TWS headphones, a customized phone case, and other peripherals.

Price.

Realme GT Neo6 is available in four memory configurations. Here’s a breakdown of their prices:

  • 12GB + 256GB: ¥2099
  • 16GB + 256GB: ¥2399
  • 16GB + 512GB: ¥2699
