The town and military personnel, past and present, came together to mark the 84th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Despite the rainy weather, the RAF groups paraded through town in their formal dress while members of the public showed their support and admiration. On Sunday (September 8), the parade saw the RAF College Kings Colours for the first time, together with the Central Flying School Kings Colours, and 45 Sqn Standards.
