The dates for the closure of a town’s Post Office at its current place and the opening of its new site have been put back. Diss Post Office, currently found in Market Place where it has been for 70 years, will be moving to the former home of Octagon Craft Gallery and Coffee lounge at 35e Mere Street. This follows the conclusion of a second public consultation after initial proposals to move the office to 5 Mere Street were deemed to be unsuitable.
