Xiaomi recently confirmed that the Xiaomi Mix Flip and Mix Fold 4 will debut this month in China. The Mix Flip will be the company’s first phone with a foldable display that features a flip design. Both devices are expected to be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A new leak on Weibo has revealed the phone’s battery size and charging capabilities.
The Xiaomi Mix Flip, which has the model number 2405CPX3DC, was spotted in the Chinese certification database 3C in May. The listing revealed that the device may come with a 67W fast charger. The latest leak shows that the device will have a 4700 mAh battery and support 67W fast charging, as shown in the screenshot above.
The only folding clamshell phone that offers a larger battery size is the Honor Magic V Flip. It features a 4800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The Mix Flip boasts the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, while the Magic V Flip uses the older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
A recent report has revealed that the Mix Flip will be available in configurations such as 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, 16GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 1TB storage. Its rear camera is expected to feature a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support and a 60-megapixel OmniVision OV60A telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.
Last month, a schematic leak showed that it will feature a massive 4-inch display on the lid. In addition, it will be the only folding clamshell phone with an external earpiece. It will have a side fingerprint sensor. Other details of the device have not yet been disclosed.
